What’s included

90-minute photo session

 

Studio sessions take place at my private, boutique studio location in beautiful downtown Charlottetown.

Pre-session consultation

 

I like to start with a meet + greet before your session to make sure you know exactly what to expect, and answer any questions you might have. It also gives us a chance to get to know each other so we're not strangers on shoot day.

Session prep + guidance

 

You will get my exclusive prep guide with everything you might need to know pre and post session, from outfit guidance, to hair and makeup tips, to how to prepare your mind and body before your session.

Access to the client closet

 

The closet has a variety of items in sizes XS-4XL. Not every item is available in every size, but the closet is extensive to say the least. It is the perfect way to complement your shoot.

Guided posing

 

I will pose you from your fingertips to your toes by first showing you the poses myself, and then guiding you through them in detail and making you feel as comfortable and supported as possible.

Unlimited outfits within shoot time

 

Outfits might include matching sets, bodysuits, your partner’s shirt, a flowy sheer robe, etc. Most people have time for 2-3 outfits, but it could be more if you opt out of the sheet set and/or nudies.

The sheet set

 

This is a fan favourite where a satin sheet is used to obstruct body parts. It’s also a great stepping stone for those who would like to do nude shots, but aren’t quite ready to bare it all for the camera.

Obstructed and/or fine art nude set

 

Nudity is never a requirement for my photo sessions…even for the shower set. It is up to you if you want to bare it all, or just bare some of it. This option also includes obstructed nude (think hand bras and other forms of body obstruction).

Image reveal + ordering session

 

Within a week after your session (typically), you get to see all of your images in both colour and black and white. This is where you’ll get to decide which images you’d like to purchase as part of your collection. Additional images and products can be purchased from the à la carte pricing menu.

 

How it works

 

Meet + greet

 

It’s normal for clients to feel nervous ahead of a session, so I like to meet for a chat over Zoom to get to know each other and start planning your session. This is your chance to get all of your questions answered.

 

Book your session date + pay your retainer

 

During your consultation, we’ll look at our schedules and get you booked in for your session. Following that, you’ll receive an invoice to pay your retainer (i.e. your session fee) in order to secure your session date. Note that I do offer pre-payment plans if you’d prefer to split up the retainer into multiple payments. There is also a bonus for pre-paying your chosen collection (don’t worry, you can still upgrade at your reveal if you decide to).

 

Prepare (and get excited) for your session

 

I want to make sure you feel as confident and prepared as possible coming into your session. You’ll get the exclusive prep guide and a pre-session questionnaire to help me make sure you get the most out of your session. The prep guide has everything from outfit guidance (including my favourite places to shop!), to tips for hair and makeup, to how to warm up and prepare your body for posing. Your pre-session questionnaire will help me plan for your session to make sure it is customized to your needs and expectations, and to ensure you get the absolute most out of it.

 

Your session day

 

Your session day has arrived! Just show up ready to go with your outfits and I’ll take care of the rest. You’ll have complimentary refreshments while we chat and get ready. I’ll also have things pulled from the client closet should you be interested in supplementing your own outfits – or you’re free to use the client closet exclusively. Throughout your session, I’ll get down on the bed/floor/literally everywhere to demonstrate each pose, and then I’ll guide you right down to your fingertips the whole time. You will be in excellent hands, so don’t worry if you’ve never been in front of a camera before!

 

Your reveal + ordering session

 

Turnaround for prepping your images for the reveal typically takes up to a week. You’ll come back to the studio (or we’ll get together online if you’re not local to Charlottetown), and you’ll get to see all of your images in both colour and black and white. You’ll select your favourite images and decide on a collection of images and products that you’ll be able to keep for years to come.

Note: Image retouching includes blemish removal, skin smoothing, colour correction, etc. I will not under any circumstances alter body parts or body proportions – you are exactly as you are meant to be. You will have the opportunity before your session to identify anything you don’t want retouched, like birthmarks, stretch marks, etc.

 

The investment

I understand that each client is unique in their needs, desires and budget. That’s why the investment menu is set up the way it is. It is split up into two separate payments – one for the session itself, which also acts as your retainer, and one for images and products purchased as part of a collection during your private reveal*.

*Pre and post session payment plans are also available for those wishing to split up the cost into multiple payments. And there is a bonus for pre-payments!

 

 

 
 

Marketing sessions

This option gets you the above package at a massive discount in exchange for a fully signed model release. Model calls (affectionately called Boudie Calls) are done when a specific theme, set, etc. is required for portfolio or marketing purposes. Make sure you’re signed up for the mailing list if you want first dibs.

  • Nope! This option is open to anyone, and no modelling experience is necessary. The goal of all of my work is to show normal, everyday people as the works of art that they are.

  • A fully signed model release means that you give permission to use any photos from your session for marketing purposes – social media, website, portfolio, and other marketing materials. This includes any of the edited photos in your reveal, even if you do not purchase them.

  • Yes it is! I love having a regular stash of content to showcase all of my work, and that includes couples. I would love to have you and your partner take advantage of this option so long as you are okay with all images being shared.

  • You are always in complete control over what does and doesn’t get shared. If at any time you decide you don’t want to sign a full model release, or would like me to stop publicly sharing photos you previously consented to, you’ll just need to pay the difference between the marketing model and the regular session fee.
